We will advertise the properties that we have available to rent each week from 00:01 on a Thursday until 23:59 the following Monday.

You can find out about the properties that we have available from the following places: 

• On this website.  Click on Property Search.
• At our offices
• In some public buildings such as libraries
• At Council Information Centres
• On a Lo-Call telephone number 0845 6066546
• At local agencies such as Citizen Advice and Social Services 

The adverts give you information about who the landlord is, the location, size and rent of the property, as well as information about other features of the property.  We will also tell you about any special eligibility requirements, for example if there is a minimum age requirement.  

Where available a photograph of the property or a similar house type is provided and you can also access information about the local area and facilities.

Expressing Your Interest in a Property

To apply for a property you must tell us that you wish to be considered for it. You may only apply for a property that is suitable for your family size. 
You can express your interest or bid, as it is also known, in one of the following ways:

• Online through our website. Login using your housing application number and the date of birth of the main applicant.
• By telephoning our 24hr automated bidding line on 0845 270 1997 
• By contacting any of our partner offices

You can bid for as many properties as you want but please only bid for a property if you would accept an offer of a tenancy.
